Sociopolitical Factors in The Development & Renovation of Hydroelectric Plants
Hydroelectric energy has gone from being the epitome of renewable energy to having a somewhat tarnished reputation. This isn’t because there is anything wrong with the method of generating energy, but many projects have been mismanaged from social, political and environmental aspects.
In this presentation I gave for Vostock Capital, I show several examples of successes and failures, and offer guidance and ideas on how hydroelectric energy providers or project developers can ensure project success, and make sure that the public and politicians are aligned with project coals.
