Orienteering? Here Is The Perfect Compass For a Tank Commander!
Sometimes when I travel, I like to go “off-road.” Often it’s for vacation and leisure, but I also have to visit mines, oil fields, and other out-of-the-way assets. Usually you don’t need a compass but it’s good to have “just in case” –but equally important is the training and skill to properly use the lifesaving device. If you don’t know how, learn!
Anyway, I purchased this compass from Amazon a few years back. It seems well made, but WAY heavier than I expected. Solid metal construction. If you need one super tough, then get this, but if you are hiking or weight is a concern, you may want something lighter.
